The Korea Rolling Stock Industries Association(KORSIA) is an active organization operating in Korea. The Korea Rolling Stock Industries Association(KORSIA) was inaugurated in November 1996. It is only one association of rolling stock industry which is under the authority of Ministry of Commerce, Industry & Energy of Republic of Korea. As its members, the KORSIA has rolling stock manufactures, rolling stock components suppliers and traction & control equipment suppliers. The KORSIA promotes the progress and development of the rolling stock industry and plays a significant role for its members. Today, the KORSIA plays an important role in establishment of the rail industry policy of the Korea Government as a representative association of rolling stock industry.
